Into The Light

As a child, I was unwittingly drawn towards all things spiritual, which led to me becoming a practising occultist as an adult. I read Tarot cards, Runes, used Ouija boards and much more, and also had a fully equipped temple at home to practice ritualistic high magick (that is the correct spelling for this use of the word!).

Then one day something changed...

I found I was no longer in control of the rituals - they were controlling me - and in a very powerful way. So, I decided to stop, but as soon as I did, an onslaught of terrifying spiritual and poltergeist activity began in our home that affected my whole family and business. After several months of this, I was approached by a friend asking if we would be Godparents at their child's Christening. This meant absolutely nothing to us, but we happily agreed. However, the Christening was at a very High Anglican church and I was shocked to see what I recognised as a very spiritual ceremony, and even more so, to discover that churches were spiritual places!

After months of not knowing what to do about my situation, I believed the Christening was some sort of protection ritual, so went to our local Anglican church to see if our kids could be Christened, as I believed it would protect them from what we were all suffering from. Unlike our friends' child's Christening, our local vicar would only conduct a Christening if the parents did a course to understand what it really meant.

During the course, it came out in conversation what I had been involved in. To my amazement I was shocked to learn how much the vicar understood about what I'd been doing, and even more so that he knew how to deal with it! Plus, the most astounding revelation to me was, it was all written about about in the Bible. After several meetings with the vicar, and also the official deliverance minister (who had been sent by the Bishop), I was dramatically set free and saved. I asked to be baptised there and then, which I was, and became born again too. It was an amazing experience, but what happened next was even more incredible.

Over the next three days a complete musical with words, music and Bible references, poured into me (as if downloaded) that told the story of what had happened to me, but through the eyes of someone else! (Something I didn't understand at first, but do now).

At the time I was a musician and ran a recording studio, but hadn’t really written words for any songs. Then suddenly, I had this complete musical titled, Into The Light, created in just three days. This was in 1990 and since then, Into The Light has toured the UK as a stage musical that was featured on daytime national TV (Vanessa), been broadcast around the world hundreds of times as a radio drama, and toured India with extracts televised and broadcast throughout The Middle East and Asia.

Since this journey began, every few years the Lord prompts me to do something new with my testimony, and the next stage has now begun. First of all I believe it's time for the stage musical to be toured again, possibly in the US this time. But unbelievably, a full length feature film of my life up until my deliverance called, The Watchkeeper, is now in development with a highly respected team of Producers based both here in the UK, and in the US. Again, the screenplay came to me in a similar way to how the Into The Light musical did. And again, as with Into The Light, I'd never written a screenplay before, and incredibly the screenplay has already won a number of international 'Best Original Screenplay' awards.

This film will be a very scary supernatural thriller, because it exposes the truth of the deception and danger of the occult, and also that Jesus is the only way! But, it is an exciting and powerful outreach project that will reach many people worldwide through this powerful medium.
